Job Description Summary

Under the direction of the Head Softball Coach, the Assistant Coach should have a working knowledge of all Southern Conference and NCAA policies, rules, and regulations and adhere to these policies as they pertain to the job.

Greenville is 2 1/2 hours from Atlanta and only one hour from Asheville, North Carolina. It is an ideal place to live and work.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required.

Knowledge of the game and rules for fast pitch softball required.

Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations required.

Preferred Qualifications

Coaching experience of 1-3 years at the collegiate level is preferred.

Work Environment

Work is performed under usual office or athletic facility conditions requiring basic safety precautions.

Frequent evening and weekend work.
Frequent travel.
Daily exposure to varied weather conditions.
Daily reaching and handling.
Daily stooping and kneeling.
Daily pushing and pulling.
Daily lifting and carrying.
Daily climbing and balancing.
